Creams/Suppositories - There are various creams or suppositories you can use to soothe the itching and inflammation. Such topical remedies as Preparation-H work well but you may also try other creams/suppositories.
Medicated Wipes - Toilet paper can be rough on the hemorrhoids and worsen them. So it’s useful to use some brands of medicated wipes to soothe the pain and maintain the area cleaned properly. One brand is Tucks.
How Do I Avoid Hemorrhoids During Pregnancy
You don’t have to deal with hemorrhoids while and after you are pregnant. There are many ways of preventing them. To start off, make sure you eat whole foods rich in fiber. Fresh fruits and vegetables work best.
Drink plenty of water for your benefit and for your baby’s. Try to drink 8-10 glasses of water daily, with a minimum of 3 glasses. Water will also help with constipation and keep you hydrated.
Exercise is also important. Try to get walks in during the day. These will help with the blood circulation and will help keep the constipation away.
