Hemorrhoids during pregnancy are a common health issue.  Pregnant women are at a much higher risk of getting hemorrhoids.  As the body of pregnant women changes, this puts more pressure on the females anorectal area.

This can produce internal as well as external hemorrhoids.  Developing hemorrhoids is also increased by giving birth due to the amount of pressure placed on the anorectal region during labor.

  • modifying bowel habits

Recommended treatment options include

  • warm baths 20-30 mintues long, 4 to 5 times daily
  • ice packs for external hemorrhoids applied for 15 minutes 3 or 4 times daily
  • include more fiber and fluids in diet
  • stool softeners
  • pain relievers like Tylenol or Advil
  • over-the-counter creams

Piles treatment with Mango Seeds


Collect the seeds during season, dry them in the shade, powdered, and kept stored.  Mango powder should be given in 1 to 2 grams (with honey if you’d like) twice a day.

Piles treatment with Turnip

Turnip leaves have been found helpful in treating piles.  Extract the juice of the leaves and give to the patient roughly 150 ml.  it’s helpful to combine raw fruits and vegetables while taking the juice.

It’s also recommended to mix 50 ml of the juice with equal amounts of juice of water cress, spinach, and carrots.

Piles treatment with Ginger

Mix half a teaspoon of fresh ginger juice with 1 teaspoon of fresh lime and 1 teaspoon of fresh mint juice.  You may add a tablespoon of honey.

Piles treatment with Onion

Rub 30 grams of onion in water and add 60 grams of sugar.  Take twice daily.  It will releive patient within a few days.

Piles treatment with Wheat Grass

Wheat grass helps detoxify the walls of piles.  Take an enema with lukewarm or mergosa water.  20 minutes later, take about 100 ml of wheat grass juice.  Retain for a quarter of an hour.

Boil one ripe banana in 1 cup of milk and mash well.  Take this 3 or 4 times per day.

Piles, more commonly known as hemorrhoids, is one of the most common ailments in today’s society.  This condition is made up of inflammated veins in the anal canal, either inside or just outside the rectum.


External piles are characterized by a lot of pain, but not much bleeding.  Internal piles discharge dark blood.  In some instances the veins burst in what is known as bleeding piles.

Piles symptoms include pain during defecating, some bleeding in the case of internal piles, and also soreness in the anal area after defecation.  It becomes uncomfortable to sit down due to teh itching, discomfort, and pain in the rectal region.

Chronic constipation and other bowel movements cause piles.  Piles are common during pregnancy and in conditions that affect the liver and upper bowel.

Prolonged periods of standing or sitting, obesity, strenuous work, mental tension, and heredity are also other causes for piles.

  • Eat fruits only for 7 days.  After that start a diet of natural foods to soften stools.
  • Dried figs are a great way to reat piles. The night before, soak 3 or 4 figs in water.  Remember that these should be taken on an empty stomach.  Also take them in the evening.  Do this for 4 weeks.  The seeds of the fruits will help with defecation.
  • The jamul fruit works wonders with bleeding piles.  This fruit should be taken with salt every morning during jamul fruit season.  Eat jamul every year and you will have no problem getting rid of annual piles.
